Family Fun

Experience some of the atmosphere at the Royal Norfolk Show with Kyle Schneider.

From the duration of this event, I realised that this event brings people together to celebrate the agriculture and accessory industry.

I captured families enjoying themselves alongside the deeper meaning of this event which was to show off companies and there achievements.

The RAF Falcons were captured in flight as they parachuted down to the main ring from the plane that was situated very high into the sky. This showed the incredible skill that they have as well as the dedication to a great cause. When asked, one of the members from the parachute team described the experience as “thrilling and fun” as he powered through the sky heading towards the ground at great speed.

Whilst going around the site, I attended the popular pig racing event which had adults and children cheering loudly as they raced around the miniature course. When asked in an interview, they stated that they like their role because they “enjoy seeing people having a nice time”. He also mentioned how they are normally “really popular” and that it hasn’t changed for their time at the Norfolk Showground.

Personally, It was really nice to see people enjoying the sun and having a great time on the fun fair at the far side of the showground. I captured the setup of this before it started to get packed. This was a really nice addition to a great project.

For my last capture of the day, I went to the Witham Group stall where they had smiles all over their faces and no wonder why considering they have just secured “ a hattrick of awards”. This was a great opportunity to meet a friendly face called Nigel who said that they “are pleased to have secure an amazing hattrick of trophies which have shown their commitment and desire towards this passionate company.
