The Royal Norfolk Show is well known for its display and showcases many different species and breeds of livestock. While I was here, I had the chance to see different species of livestock, such as cattle, sheep, pigs and goats, as well as a few smaller species such as rabbits and Guinea pigs.
The Royal Norfolk Show hosted different competitions and shows to display these animals; for example, cattle and pigs were shown in front of judges, who would judge them in competitions, before deciding a winner and handing them an award.
The show also has dozens of different breeds of each species of livestock, including rare breeds. While there, I saw that the animals were well looked after. When not being displayed in a show, the livestock were being groomed and fed, showing how the people working with them cared for them.
The cattle were also visited by HRH Princess Anne, who is a supporter of local farming in the Norfolk area.
